BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Liberal Party of Canada encourages the Government to provide expanded access without cost or payment to clinically approved oral contraceptives and specialized preventative pharmaceuticals to youth, women, LGBTQ2+ Canadians, and vulnerable communities;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Liberal Party of Canada encourages the Government to reinvest in the Public Health Agency of Canada, with a focus on preventive health education and awareness programs targeted at youth, women, LGBTQ2+ Canadians, and vulnerable communities;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Liberal Party of Canada encourages the Government to ensure all health services are free of discrimination and are based on scientific evidence, including an end to the discriminatory and stigmatizing blood donor-screening policies;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Liberal Party of Canada encourages the Government to introduce legislation to decriminalize HIV non-disclosure, and work in consultation with health and patient groups to update Canada’s HIV regulations based on the recommendations of UNAIDS, with an increased focus on preventative health education, awareness, and scientific evidence.
